"If you are looking for a great Sunday lunch, look no further than this establishment. My wife and I have, over the past few months, been searching for the pub with great food and a friendly atmosphere, and after trying many places, we were delighted to visit here. The food is of a consistent high standard and is delicious. The layout is traditional, as is the Sunday lunch menu with the usual 3 choice of meats and accompanying Yorkshire pudding and veg, although there are other specials available. Try the homemade stuffing it's delicious! The portions are plentiful, and the veg are kept hot in individual tureens. Staff are friendly and helpful and will help you with your needs. The only slight downside is the limited parking spaces and I would highly recommend booking a table."
"Wonderful Sunday lunch here. We shared the lamb and beef. Delicious with all the trimmings. Pub is in a charming little village and has great interior decor. Annie served us and she was lovely. Hope to come back"
"Sunday lunch here with friends. The food was very nice. Perhaps not award winning nice, but still very good. Service was friendly albeit a bit of a conveyor belt job, but I suppose they were very busy. Would definitely return, but maybe at a quieter time."
"What an amazing place! Went there for lunch with my wife, 8 year old daughter and my in laws. The staff couldn't do enough for us. From adding brocoli and cheese to my daughters main course, making my daughter homemade J2o!to candles to my in laws desserts! They couldn't have done enough! The food was brilliant! The perfect portion size as well. We all walked away full. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Well worth the trip and will definitely be back soon"
"Booked in for a Sunday roast. Went for a small roast, but when they say small, they really do mean it. 1 roast potato and a slice of meat as thick as sandwich meat… disappointing. You can go for a large at £17.50 and you get 2 thin slices… overpriced. I can understand limiting meat but potatoes are a much cheaper element of the dish. It was tasty, just no where near enough for what you’re paying."
