"Nice pleasant place for coffee or meal Great staff"
"been going into notcuts once or twice a week for many years ...but the cafe has sadly gone down and not as good as it used to be..and absolutely freezing sometimes this winter...but the garden centre itself is lovely... plenty of good gifts unusual ones too...plants a huge variety ... would definitely recommend a look and it may even be a good day in the cafe too...."
"Breakfast not up to much. Bacon rock hard sausage dry no yolk in egg potatoes solid. Over cooked over priced."
"Only stopped for coffee. Fairly good choice on offer. Reasonable prices and Staff were helpful and friendly. Feels a bit like canteen in the seating area without much atmosphere. Overall a good place to take a break from shopping."
"Stopped by for lunch around 1pm on a Thursday, cafe was probably about half full. I had the large fish and chips which was enormous, one and a half fish filets with a healthy portion of chunky chips. Both excellent fried, drained and very crisp. Served with generous portion of tartar sauce and mushy peas, I'm not a fan so didn't try them but they looked fine. Americano was good, my company had a hot chocolate (a bit thin, but tasty) and a pot of tea. They also had scones which they enjoyed and were large enough to sink a battleship. Decor is rather corporate, more up market canteen than cosy cafe, perhaps more could be done with the ceiling/roof which is polystyrene tiles. Staff are friendly and efficient and Covid 19 rules are being followed effectively with screens in place, staff wearing masks and contactless payment preferred but not essential if you do not have this facility. In summary, food was great, service proficient, decor is a little sterile in places."
