With a focus on private practice, Eva works with children, teens, adults, and individuals with special needs. She combines the powerful techniques of Art Therapy and Hakomi therapy, which complement each other and create a cumulative effect in promoting healing and personal growth.
Art Therapy is a transformative approach for individuals who wish to explore their inner world through creativity. Using various mediums such as color, form, story, and metaphor, Art Therapy allows you to express yourself and delve into your emotions and aspirations. You have full control over the content and pace of the process, and no prior experience in art is necessary. Additionally, Eva can guide you through therapeutic art interventions if needed. Our art materials include watercolors, chalk pastels, oil pastels, clay, colored and graphite pencils, charcoal, and more.
In a one-on-one setting, Art Therapy establishes a trusting relationship that fosters emotional growth. This therapeutic approach is suitable for people of all ages and can be tailored to individual needs.
Hakomi Therapy, also known as "assisted self-study," is designed for those who are curious about their true selves and their potential. Through mindfulness, you will learn to observe your body, sensations, emotions, inner images, and memories. Eva has been practicing Art Therapy for the past three years, working with children and adults. She has extensive experience in addressing ADHD, emotional difficulties stemming from grief or parental separation, behavioral issues, and various life challenges. Eva also collaborates with the families of the children she sees. For adults, she specializes in supporting individuals dealing with separation, grief, family violence, trauma, and other life issues. Eva's expertise extends to working with individuals with learning disabilities, as she has been a caregiver and art therapist in this field for 26 years.
With a career spanning 30 years, Eva has conducted numerous art groups for both adults and children, with a focus on self-exploration. Her qualifications include being a Registered Creative Arts Therapist (AThR) and a Professional Member of the New Zealandn, New Zealand, and Asian Arts Therapy Association (MANZACATA).
