"Please Make sure your surgeon reads your notes prior to major surgery . It can destroy your life and their is not an accountability"
"I feel priviledged to have been admitted to this hospital for surgery. All staff and surgeons were professional and caring right from the moment I arrived. My experience here has been probably the best I’ve ever had in a hospital. I can not find any fault with Royston hospital. Facilities were excellent, modern and very clean, nice spacious room. State of the art surgeries and equipment. The food service was outstanding and the team that presided over me I could not thank enough. I had the best team and would like to thank the staff at Royston for taking care of me especially Emma and her team of nurses, let alone my Surgeon Dr Blackett. ❤️"
"I went to Royston Hospital for surgery in Nov 2020 and stayed for two nights. With giving a review, I look for pros and cons. However, I just cannot come up with any cons! I could not be more happy with the care, professionalism and friendly service provided. The care and management before and after my surgery was beyond anything but excellent. The food was fantastic, well done to the kitchen. This hospital goes the extra mile to make the patients comfortable and look after their wellbeing."
"I am maori and I went along with my pregnant daughter and son inlaw to see the scan and gender of my grandchild. Along with myself was my son inlaws mother and my 17 year old daughter.. prior to this appointment my daughter was clearly told we could go in to see her scan. So as we would be all very excited. We get here and a lady comes after 30 mins of us being here says masks fully on. ( understandable) to our understanding we could go in 1 at a time with her to see the scan.. then get told no we cannot!.. now I would not have an issue if the nurse was alot nicer and culturally sensitive to us as Maori. I felt from the time we got here that we were made to feel very uncomfortable. I understand fully about cultural sensitivity and my daughter being a health consumer was not looked at holistically. Whether she was comfortable. Being told she can have us then at the time told no. I feel this staff member needs to be educated on this. I have no problem lodging a complaint on cultural awareness with Royston."
