Welcome to New Shoots Children's Centre Papamoa, located in the heart of Papamoa's thriving coastal community. Our centre, situated at 5-7 Twin Oak Avenue, is the very first early childhood centre of the New Shoots movement, dedicated to creating spaces where children and families can grow together.

Our centre consists of two architecturally designed buildings, one specifically catered to infants and toddlers, and the other designed for preschoolers. Inspired by the beachy bach style, our centre is surrounded by our very own orchards, filled with delicious mandarins, plums, and figs that often find their way onto the plates and into the tummies of our tamariki.

At New Shoots Papamoa, we believe in the power of play, and we provide ample opportunities for it in our spacious, park-like outdoor areas. As a member of the Enviroschools programme and our own Kura Ngahere (Forest Kindy), we view the environment as the third teacher, encouraging children to freely explore and develop their confidence in the world around them, regardless of the weather.

We are proud to be New Zealand's first Curiosity Approach Accredited early childhood centre. This means we prioritize using natural, real-life items and sustainable resources to foster a culture of curiosity and wonder in our tamariki.

Community is incredibly important to us, and we celebrate it through various centre events such as annual quiz nights, Matariki celebrations, and picnic days. We warmly invite you to become a part of the New Shoots Papamoa family and encourage you to visit us anytime.

Our fees include nappies, meals, wet bags, bags, and hats/beanies. Every day at New Shoots Papamoa is seen as a new opportunity for our tamariki to connect, thrive, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.

Please note that we operate as a full-day service and do not offer short days or sessions. Our fees include high-quality teacher ratios that exceed Ministry of Education Standards. We require a minimum enrolment of two days per week, and a $50 enrolment fee is due upon enrolment to secure your place. If you have two or more children attending New Shoots full time, you will receive a 10% discount on your eldest child's fees. Nappies and food are provided, but please bring your own formula if needed.
