Welcome to New Shoots Children's Centre - Sandhurst Papamoa! Located at 520 Gloucester Road in Papamoa Beach, Papamoa, our establishment is the perfect place for families living in central Pāpāmoa or commuting from Welcome Bay, Te Puke, and beyond.

At New Shoots Sandhurst, we believe that every child's learning should be inspired by nature. Our purpose-built centre reflects this belief, with an abundance of glass, earthy tones, and sustainable resources. The inviting atmosphere, along with the wafting scents of home-cooked food, creates a sense of comfort and ease for your child, allowing their natural curiosity to take center stage.

Outside, our generous organic space is filled with huts, sandpits, water play areas, and an ever-evolving mud pit. Children of all ages can learn side by side, making the most of Mother Nature's precious gifts.

We are proud to offer Akotanga Tūanuku (Outdoor Education) at Sandhurst. This bush kindy program is available to our oldest tamariki in the Taniwha room, providing them with an enriched outdoor learning environment where they can challenge themselves and their learning.

Our dedicated teaching team takes joy in celebrating every milestone and empowering children to feel a sense of belonging and purpose. We prioritize bicultural practices, value the importance of play, and treat our whānau (families) with kindness and respect. Community involvement is also a significant part of who we are, and we regularly host family-friendly events throughout the year.

Our fees include nappies, meals, wetbag, bag, and hat/beanie. We believe that every day is a new opportunity for connection, growth, and building a lifelong love of learning.

Please note that New Shoots operates as a full-day service and does not offer short days or sessions. Our fees include high-quality teacher ratios above Ministry of Education standards. The minimum enrollment requirement is two days per week, and a $50 enrollment fee is due upon enrollment to secure your place. If you have two or more children attending New Shoots full time, you will receive a 10% discount on your eldest child's fees. Nappies and food are provided, but formula must be brought in from home if required.
