Reviews
"Found this place as I was looking for a running trail from where I was staying on Edgecombe Rd. Very obviously used for archery & there is freedom camping there too (2 nights only according to other reviewers) Saw a couple of cars parked up for an overnighter too. I would suggest that in these troubled times we give those who are down on their luck as much as a break as we can...❤"
"Not a very nice park, and so noisy next to the motorway. From what I hear it's a freedom camping area, and there's also an archery area, so at least it serves a purpose. Otherwise it's just a patch of grass in a busy, barren area. The walkway is okay"
"Freedom camp here for 2 smaller campers, Stayed two nights. Far enough away from the road and close enough to CBD etc."
"Registered Freedom camping 2 nights as permitted. One particular pompous archery club member not amused. Maybe they should be thankful that it is a responsible, respectable FC who stayed, not whomever rips up the grass and throws litter everywhere!! Stays for months amongst the trees."
"I kayaked to Graham park down the kopueruera river from Gate PA. . It has a good beach its easy to get kayak out and close to car park. From a kayaking perspective winds very changeable and the tides can get shallow but over all very pleasant."
