Looking to create a memorable birthday party? Look no further than BaySwim! You can create your own birthday party at Otumoetai Pool, where your child and their friends can have a blast in the water.

During school holidays, it's important to keep your kids active and engaged. BaySwim is the perfect solution, as we offer activities to keep your little ones entertained throughout the holidays.

At BaySwim, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, preventing you or your child from attending swimming lessons. That's why we offer one replacement lesson per participant, per swim school term, free of charge. This allows you to make up for missed lessons due to reasons such as illness or injury. Replacement lessons must be scheduled within the same swim school term and can be booked up to two days in advance, subject to availability.

To ensure the safety of all our swimmers, we have supervision rules in place. All children under the age of 10 years are required to wear a color-coded wristband. For more information on our supervision rules, please visit keepmesafe.co.nz.

Our instructors follow a comprehensive program designed to create technically proficient swimmers with excellent stamina. We believe in the power of repetition, so our programs are structured to repeat with small changes each week until all the necessary skills are achieved. We believe in rewarding our students with playtime after their lessons.

Once you or your child has consistently achieved the move up criteria for a particular level for two consecutive weeks, our teachers will inform the On Deck Supervisor that you are ready to progress to the next level. You can then schedule the new level with our friendly reception team.

For children over 3 years of age, we highly recommend swimming caps as they prevent hair from distracting swimmers and keep water out of their eyes and ears, ensuring their comfort and hygiene. We have a fantastic range of goggles and swimming caps available for purchase at our pools, and you'll even receive a 10% discount.

Please note that goggles and swimming caps are not required for Sensory Swimming Lessons.
