Welcome to Southbridge Pool, a premier establishment and point of interest situated at Southbridge, High Street, 100 in New Zealand. Managed by the Council, Southbridge Pool is part of the Selwyn Aquatic Centre and offers a range of community pools for your enjoyment.

As a fully lifeguarded pool, Southbridge Pool ensures a safe and secure environment for all visitors. Our operating hours are from Show Weekend (12 November 2022) to mid-March, weather dependent. During the school term, we are open Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 7pm. On school holidays, weekends, and public holidays, our opening hours are extended from 1pm to 7pm. We also provide morning and midday lane swimming options on specific days.

Please note that Southbridge Pool is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the pool closes at 6pm. Additionally, we offer swimming lessons on various dates and Aqua Aerobics classes on Mondays and Thursdays at 12pm. At Southbridge Pool, we offer a variety of admission prices for your convenience. You can find detailed information about these prices and the activities available at the pool on our website or by visiting us in person.

For the safety of all our visitors, children under 5 years of age must be within arm's reach of a caregiver who is 16 years or older. Children under 8 years of age require active supervision by a caregiver.

We also have another pool located in Sheffield. This pool is open from Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 7pm during the school term, and from 1pm to 5pm on school holidays, weekends, and public holidays. Please note that this pool is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, and 2 January.

Similar to Southbridge Pool, the Sheffield pool offers a range of admission prices and activities. Children under 5 years of age must be within arm's reach of a caregiver who is 16 years or older, and children under 10 years of age require active supervision by a caregiver.

Southbridge Pool is a heated, fully lifeguarded pool operating from Show Weekend (12 November 2022) to mid-March. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 7pm during the school term, and from 1pm to 7pm on school holidays, weekends, and public holidays.

We also have an outdoor pool available, measuring 13m x 5m with a depth ranging from 0.8m to 1.0m. Please note that this pool is not lifeguarded and operates from December (10 December 2022) to the end of March.

For convenient access to family swim sessions, you can purchase swim access keys for the season from the Leeston Library and Service Centre. The seasonal swimming costs $25, with an additional $10 per card for the season. Replacement cards are available for $10.
