Established in 1971, our facility has evolved from a simple outdoor pool to a fully enclosed space featuring three pools and an onsite Clubfit gym. As an establishment and point of interest in the community, we offer a year-round aquatic facility for the public to enjoy.

At Greerton Aquatic and Leisure Centre, we prioritize the well-being of our community by providing a range of programs and activities. Our center is used by local schools to deliver Learn to Swim programs, ensuring that children have the opportunity to develop essential swimming skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Whether you're looking for lane swimming, aqua aerobics, or sensory swimming, our center has it all. We even offer sensory-friendly sessions in our hydrotherapy pool, designed for individuals who prefer a quieter and more calming swimming experience.

To make your visit more convenient, we offer various admission and membership options. Our General Membership grants you unlimited entry during opening hours, while our Gold Membership includes unlimited entry and access to Aquafit classes. These memberships can be used not only at Greerton Aquatic and Leisure Centre but also at Memorial Pool and Otumoetai Pool.

Before you head out, be sure to check the lane availability on our website to ensure a smooth swimming experience. And if you're in the mood for a relaxing swim and some delicious food, feel free to bring your own snacks to enjoy by the pool. We also have BBQs available for hire at Greerton, Memorial, and Otumoetai pools.

Please note that commercial food is not permitted at Baywave, so leave the pizza and fast food at home. Additionally, we do not offer items for hire, but our pools have stores where you can purchase swimwear, towels, goggles, and other swimming essentials.

As we prioritize the cleanliness and hygiene of our pools, our lifeguards regularly clean the pools to maintain high standards. The duration of cleaning may vary, so feel free to contact our reception for updates.

If you're planning a visit to the Mount Hot Pools, there is no need to book your entry in advance. However, we do recommend booking private spas online to ensure availability.
