"Great place for anything, kick around, bit of cricket, walking, running, excersing. Popular place for Thursday night touch rugby, and saturday cricket, and training during the week. Great cricket, rugby and tennis clubs located within the park. They take good care of the cricket pitches and the rugby fields and the tennis courts. Which are open to the public. The cricket nets are awesome and well taken care of."
"A large park with open grass fields for sports throughout the year such as Soccer, Rugby and Cricket. A squash club and tennis club are also located on the grounds. A playground and public barbeques are found on the Avonhead road side of the park. In recent years various exercise equipment has been added around the perimeter of the park. A good place to go for a jog or take your dog!"
