At Benic Dental, we are proud to have Dr. Dale Benic as our dentist and director. Dr. Benic, originally from Wellington, made the move to the beautiful Bay of Plenty in 2012 to join the renowned Tooth Fairy Dental Centre. With years of experience in cosmetic and general dentistry, Dr. Benic quickly became an integral part of the dental community. After four years of contracting with Tooth Fairy Dental, Dr. Benic and his colleague, Dr. Joy Dawson, took ownership of Tooth Fairy Dental and transformed it into the exceptional institution it is today.

Dr. Benic holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the esteemed University of Otago and has completed numerous advanced courses to further enhance his knowledge and skills. In his most recent professional development cycle, Dr. Benic surpassed 150 hours of post-graduate training on advanced topics, including Invisalign tooth alignment, dental implant restoration and placement, wisdom tooth removal, root canal therapies, and dental ceramic veneers and crowns. He has also completed the Progressive Orthodontic Course in Sydney and the Implant Placement Surgical Course in Auckland. Utilizing state-of-the-art 3D digital technology, Dr. Benic ensures the most accurate and effective dental procedures for his patients.

Dr. Benic is dedicated to delivering excellent dental care and prioritizes patient comfort above all else. He thoroughly enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from routine dental treatments to providing relief for acute conditions, and excels in high-quality cosmetic procedures.

Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Benic has a diverse background. He served as an officer in the New Zealand Army Territorials, commissioned in 2005. Additionally, he has been a member of dental teams that have traveled to remote parts of the Pacific Islands, providing much-needed dental aid to local populations.

Since moving to the Bay of Plenty with his wife Victoria, Dr. Benic has embraced the active lifestyle the area has to offer. He enjoys participating in various sporting activities, including golf, tennis, hockey with the Mount Maunganui Mavericks, twilight cricket, and even surfing. Dr. Benic and Victoria also have their hands full with their two young children.

Dr. Benic's qualifications and affiliations include membership in the New Zealand Dental Association and the New Zealand Dental Council. He is a graduate of the Progressive Orthodontic Course and a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education.
