About the Business
Welcome to Queens Park, a stunning establishment located in Clunes, Australia. This park is not just a point of interest, but also a cherished community site that holds great importance to the residents of Clunes and the surrounding areas.
We are excited to announce that the Hepburn Shire Council has recently released draft masterplans for Queens Park and Pioneer Park, and they are inviting the community to have a say in shaping the future direction of these beloved parks. Your input and feedback are crucial in ensuring that these parks continue to serve as valuable spaces for recreation, relaxation, and community engagement.
In addition to the masterplan release, the council has expressed deep concern about the increasing levels of aggressive behavior directed at their staff. They are committed to addressing this worrying trend and ensuring the safety and well-being of their employees.
If you are someone who is passionate about the environment and eager to take action on climate change, Queens Park is the perfect place for you. If you are a landholder with ten hectares or more, we encourage you to get involved and make a positive impact on the land.
Are you planning to host an event? We have an exciting online workshop series designed to empower individuals from community, volunteer-based groups, and businesses in the Hepburn Shire. This series aims to provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully organize and execute events in our beautiful region.
Calling all small business owners who juggle family and work! We are offering a FREE 5-part webinar series that allows you to connect and share experiences with other like-minded women. This platform is designed to support and inspire you in your entrepreneurial journey.
For land managers looking to enhance their skills and knowledge about grazing livestock, we have a comprehensive course scheduled between September 2023 and May 2024. This course is specifically designed to improve soil health, promote perennial pasture species, and even include native species.
Stay updated on our upcoming listening post and Meet the Mayor sessions by visiting our website. We value your opinions and want to create a space where your voice is heard.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people as the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters on which we live and work. We pay tribute to their age-old ceremonies and their resilience in the face of dispossession. We also extend our respect to the neighboring Traditional Owners, the Wurundjeri and the Wadawurrung, and recognize their rich cultural heritage.
Join us at Queens Park and experience the beauty, community spirit, and cultural significance that this institution holds. We look forward to welcoming you!

"Nice place to sit in the sun and picnic. No toilets however. Need to use those in the town centre about 300 meters across the river. There is an free electric BBQ."
"The grandkids loved it."
"Great farmers market with lots to buy"
"Queens Park is a small park situated along side the river, between two beautiful old bridges. This park features a children's playground, as well as a community bbq, and seating. It also hosts a beautiful historical fountain that's been in residence for many a year. Queens Park has played host to many visitors over the 100 plus years it's been there, and once use to house gardens too. The Clunes information centre has more information about this beautiful historical Park."
