Welcome to the Hutt City Kindergarten Association, where a lifetime of learning begins. Located in Lower Hutt on Witako Street, our institution is not just an establishment or a point of interest, but a school that fosters curiosity, independence, and adventure.

With 20 kindergartens spread across the beautiful Hutt Valley, including Stokes Valley, Central Hutt, Western Hills, and Wainuiomata, we have been proudly growing young learners for over 90 years. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff are committed to providing the very best education and fun learning environments for your child.

As a not-for-profit organization, we are here solely for the benefit of your child. We believe that kindergarten is a place where interests are sparked, friendships are forged, and the foundations for a lifelong love of learning are laid. Our goal is to empower each child to explore their individual interests and develop their unique potential.

We operate based on the school term calendar, with Term 1 running from 25 January to 6 April, Term 2 from 24 April to 30 June, Term 3 from 17 July to 22 September, and Term 4 from 9 October to 21 December.
