The Winter edition of our Community Update magazine is now available to read online, providing you with the latest news and updates about the pool. We are excited to announce that the Outdoor Pool season will run from Saturday 3 December 2022 to Monday 13 March 2023.

During this season, our pools will be open every day, except for Christmas Day and days where the forecasted temperature is less than 25 degrees. We want to ensure that you have ample opportunity to cool off and make the most of the summer weather.

In light of the closure of the Maryborough Outdoor Pool, our council has implemented several changes to ensure that you can still enjoy a cool and refreshing summer. The Maryborough Outdoor Pool will remain closed until funding can be secured for its reconstruction. For more information on this matter, please click HERE.

At the July Council Meeting, a report on the future of the heritage-listed Maryborough 50-meter pool was endorsed by the council. We will continue to advocate to State and Federal Governments for funding to rebuild this iconic pool. It has been determined that the pool has reached the 'end of life' stage, and it cannot be reopened until it is demolished and rebuilt. Therefore, we will work with Heritage Victoria to use the $2 million in funding to upgrade the octagonal pool, the plant room, and the main entrance building, preserving this significant heritage complex.

We are thrilled to announce that entry to the Dunolly Outdoor Swimming Pool for the 2022-2023 season is FREE. This provides an excellent opportunity for everyone in the community to come and enjoy our facilities without any financial burden.

Please note that entry to both the Talbot and Dunolly Outdoor Pools is also FREE for the 2022-2023 season. We want to ensure that everyone has access to a safe and enjoyable swimming experience.
