"Always nice to bring the dog here, for his exercise."
"Nice big oval, always well kept by the council and the dog park is fantastic. Awesome footpaths, nice and level for amateur/easy walking/riding. Only complaints are they should have lights at the dog park at night for the very early morning or late night dog walkers. It would be great for dogs who are not so friendly or find socialising too overwhelming to be able to go to the dog park when no one else is there and be let off their leash, in a safe secured environment, once it gets dark the dog park stays empty. The sections of the dog park also should be allocated one for small dogs and one for large, not one for small dogs and one for all dogs. Sorry but I would rather know that my dog isn't at risk of accidentally injuring another smaller dog because it was too small to handle the rough and tumble nature of larger dogs. People bring their small dogs in with the larger ones and I've seen a few close calls when, as their owner, they should have taken their dog out of the situation purely for its safety. These two big concerns are what stops me going to the dog park. The possible legal dilemmas, especially a grey area regarding accountability and responsibility, along with the inability to go when it's quiet due to poor lighting, makes going altogether not worth it. Still, no harm checking it out and seeing how you and your dog fit in before letting them off their leash. You and your dog may love it!"
"The dog park is a lovely way to give back to your furry friend, oh and plus the people there are very friendly and talk a lot! There are two parks one for the big dogs and one for the small shy dogs."
"Great facility for both bigger and smaller dogs. Water, shade, lots of smells! Only downside are the ignorant dog owners who don't pick up their own dog's poop."
