""Toowoomba Garden of Remembrance is a serene and beautifully maintained memorial space. Its tranquil atmosphere and well-kept gardens provide a peaceful setting for reflection and remembrance. A place of solace and reverence for honoring loved ones.""
"My son (aged 21) was buried in the Wuth Lawn 26 years ago. For the most of this time I found the staff (both admin and grounds) to be professional with the way in which the grounds were kept and the empathy they had for the families of those who have paid to have their loved ones buried there. However, during the last couple of years I have found this wonderful service has slipped considerably. I presume new management. It was a move in the right direction when signs were placed around the grounds giving us plenty of notice about “park clean-ups”, which enabled us time to remove flowers/ornaments so the work could be carried out. The last clean-up was approximately one month ago. I placed artificial flowers at my son’s headstone less than 2 weeks ago in readiness for his birthday, knowing there were no planned “park clean-ups” advertised. Today I visited my son’s grave and it was obvious the grounds had been mowed very, very recently, some sites were whipper snipped but not all (including my son’s grave) yet most of the flowers removed, obviously by the grounds staff for mowing, but not returned. The bright blue flowers I placed would have still been in very good order. We did not get notice it was going to be a “park cleanup”. It was my understanding that flowers in good condition would be placed back after mowing when it wasn’t a park clean-up. This did not happen and it hasn’t been the first time the same has occurred. "My daughter has had her resting place at The Garden of Remembrance for 10 years now. We have visited weekly all those years and for the most part the maintenance of the gardens has always been wonderful. But I have to say, over the past couple of years the standard has shifted. My daughters memorial garden was watered regularly and was surrounded by lush green grass. I use to bring clippers to trim the edges between mows, but now it just surrounded by red dirt. Very disappointing"
