"Mount Cleveland Hike- there’s no track so don’t bother looking for one, just make your own track instead. There’s no signage either so I just parked about 1km before the CSIRO/JCU/Aust. gov. Marine Research facility and found my own way up a south facing spur line up the side of the mountain. This pic is at 387m and took me a lazy 2hrs to get to with plenty of breaks. I can’t wait to come back in better weather to make the main summit."
"Absolutely lovely place. Plan for a 5 hour return walk and wear quick dry clothes."
"A lot of natural beauty here. There are no shops or amenities. A lovely place for a quick visit. Bring your insect repellent."
"Alligator is beautiful, clear waters. Plenty of walking tracks and amentities on the campsite are fine."
"Went for Alligator Creek Falls, hike is 17 km return. First 2,5 km and last km are beautiful. The swimming area in the beginning is stunning. The falls are simply breathtaking, water very cold. However... apart from the nice parts, I found the middle 10 km quite boring with now and then a nice spot. Recommend the hike for the view of the falls, unfortunately not for the hike itself."
