"Tryed to book a doctor last week we couldn't get .final got one today With Dr ahmad sharaffi I found him rude He didn't look at my child . He didn't check her ears or throat nothing the things you check You usually he didn't do anything and where still sick so ok a job well done thank you for not looking and wasting my time could of been at chemists has a better ideas .. crazy .. I know we live on a island but we're In title to medical care"
"In two years I've met Dr Sharafi who Is a caring respectful and intelligent doctor I followed when he left Macleay Island. The female Dr Perera who I was confident to return to. and Dr who I have full confidence in. Im don't always have confidence in doctors yet I do recommend these three 100% - so far. Russell has equipment to do procedures like ear cleaning but Macleay does not."
"Unprofessional and inadequate nurse. Needed help with transferring my covid certificates. She took 2 phone calls during my visit (said that her daughter is from America) and spoke to her about what to get from coles. Then called her back about mandarins and yoghurt that they might want in the morning. By this time i had to intervene and remind her I was still sitting by, completely shocked by how unprofessional and rude she was. In the end i was trying to do her job for myself in the healthcare interface because she was clearly out of it. Then she tried to google the andswers. I was in disbelief. If this is the medical "professional " of this island i feel sorry for the residents. She said she has been working there for 12 years, looked like a cleaner who was there first week. She did not get me any help and i wasted my time. Going to mainland to get it sorted. This incident will be reported and further training must be done for people who are clearly lacking of competence."
"Excellent service. Narelle is fantastic on reception and is very attentive Dr Sam is very caring and a great Doctor. Catering for a huge amount of clients, sometimes they run behind time but overall I am very grateful for their professionalism. An excellent team who works well together."
"Coming to the island in 2017 I was apprehensive about visiting a new Dr but Sam was fantastic totally into your medical notes to discover your chronic health issues & treatment. I could not ask for a better GP to be looking after me & my hubby who is always available for appointments Or over the phone consult if I am to sick to go to the surgery. Thank you Russell Island medical centre from Narelle Summer to the Drs you go above & beyond."
