Reviews
"We went around 9am and we had the place to our shelves and the Little Rock wallabies all came out to say hello. It is a shame people feed them and they become dependent on humans. Please if you you go and see them, don’t feed them!"
"Cute little guys hanging out at Magnetic Island. Despite signage advising not to feed them, I noticed tourists feeding them random foods. I also noticed one of the rock wallabies was rather ill and vomited violently. This may or may not have been due to tourist food, but please refrain from feeding them and disrupting their natural ecosystem :)"
"The wallabies are mostly friendly and if you move slowly, they will eat out your hand and pose for pictures. Everyone is feeding carrots so choose another one of the food types on the sign and they will love you the most. At sunset more wallabies come out along the road towards the marked spot."
"Good fun. Very busy and quite a few people feeding the wrong stuff. However they are very cute and will eat out of your hand if your patient. Just don’t disturb ones with joeys in their pouch as they seem to get a little agitated"
"Lots of rock wallabies to be seen! They’re more active early morning or at dusk so try to plan your visits around those times. We went during the heat of the day, but managed to locate them in a nearby cave off the track. Easy walk but be careful of the jagged rocks. They’re all very friendly and some of them will even let you pat them."
