But don't just take my word for it, here are some testimonials from previous clients:
"Shelly immediately brought confidence and security into our birth space, and provided hands-on and emotional support throughout an intense labor experience. Without her ongoing, grounding support throughout an emotionally difficult pregnancy, I feel we would not have had the same level of courage to face our fears and the unknown, and bring our baby into the world the way she needed. Shelly is one of the most confident, competent, and compassionate women I have ever met."
"Shelly was at the births of 2 of my children, both homebirths. She held space for me to step into my power and take back my autonomy. Shelly supported me in my choices as an intuitive mother, reassuring me with her endless knowledge and statistics about birth. We are both forever grateful for her."
"Shelly has the most calming, loving, and kind nature, and it is impossible not to feel instantly at ease when you meet her! From the moment we met, it felt so natural that she would be the one to lead me through my first birth. While things didn't go exactly to my plan, I felt extremely supported throughout and informed and empowered to make decisions about the birth as they arose. I really don't think I could have done it without Shelly, she was by my side for the whole marathon offering much-needed physical and emotional support. Oh, and her prenatal massage is the best! Thanks so much, Shelly."
"Shelly is an amazing doula and an amazing human. She has the biggest and kindest heart, and the most amazing stamina! My labor was 48 hours and she didn't leave my side. Hire Shelly! You will not regret it!"
In addition to our services, we also offer handcrafted, organically grown breastfeeding tea from VENUS HERBS, as well as the book "Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering" by Dr. Sarah Buckley.

"Shelly's pelvic alignment and massage was amazing! i have struggled with months of pelvic pain through my pregnancy which is now gone. She is so knowledgeable and calming, couldn't be happier, highly recommend!"
"We utilised Shelly’s incredible knowledge, empathy and skills for the birth of our child in ‘21. We had spent nearly 6 months in the birth world and felt like we were continually being misled and manipulated by the maternity system. Shelly was the first person we encountered who just sat with us and just talked to us honestly. She held space for us and answered all our questions. We attended her education classes (seriously a must for ALL expectant mothers and fathers) and I attended her pregnancy circles. The information she shared was INVALUABLE. Her support during my labour of 7 days was so special. Shelly is an earth angel. Her massages are such wonderful experiences as she holds space for all the concerns you may have while she rubs out the stresses in your body. I will ALWAYS use her for future babies for all forms of support she offers. I don’t think my partner and I can ever truly explain what Shelly did for us. She changed our lives and made them infinitely more magical. If you are tossing up whether or not to use her this is one mama saying to another… you need Shelly, you may not realise it, but she will be life changing for you. Thank you Shelly. You are one of our favourite people on this planet. You are changing lives and changing the birth space which changes the world."
"Shelly played a huge part in my positive unmedicated natural birth! If you have any pain while pregnant and think it’s “normal pregnant stuff” please read my review (+ short birth story). First session with Shelly we did an external pelvic alignment because I had this ongoing pain on my ciatica that kept me limping for about 3 weeks. I could barely get off bed without groaning. I thought to myself “this is just normal pregnant stuff, right?”. Wrong! After only one session of release work with Shelly I could walk normally again and I even joked with her I could go for a run. That pain did not return. After the really positive improvements with the external work, I decided to go back for *internal pelvic work* And this is what I hope all expecting moms will get to know and try. It’s a beautiful work Shelly does and I really think the main reason for my positive unmedicated birth. Shelly explains to you all the ligaments and muscles and looks for what’s really going on there…. Where the tension is and what you need to do to release it. She guides you through it, but *you do the release work*! More importantly, you get to feel and understand the path the baby will make. This is really special for first time moms!! It gave me so much confidence to know all that. My last two sessions with Shelly were the most incredible ones. I had contractions for 3 days but nothing was improving enough to get me into active labor. I asked Shelly to come to my place for some more release work. I was 41+5. I had no idea how much release I had to do (emotionally, mentally, physically) and I feel so blessed and grateful that Shelly was there for me. My birth story was challenging and amazing at the same time. Challenging because pre labor was long and it really got me exhausted before I even got to active labor but beautiful because my girl was beautifully positioned and ready to come out, just waiting for her mama to be ready. I stayed strong and did not go for any intervention. I cannot tell you when I was in transition because it all kind of felt the same for me. Pushing was pretty easy and quick. I could feel my baby moving down and out and I had control of the pushing. My baby girl was born 41+6 and super healthy. Now I hope I can help spread Shelly’s work so that more expecting mamas get to know her work and have more positive birth stories like mine. Every mama has their own release to do and Shelly knows how to guide you through that beautifully (whatever it is that you’re going through). Thank you Shelly for being part of Lilah’s birth story. We love you xxx"
"Shelly is amazing she was recommended by a friend and Im so glad I went to her. This is my first pregnancy and I have been having bad hip pain, I had the massage and pelvic alignment. Shelly has so much knowledge when it comes to the pregnant body you just know your in good hands. She also spent an hour with my partner showing him stretches to help with my pelvic alignment which I'm putting to good use now in preparation for labour."
