While we regret to inform you that the Cairns Festival Grand Parade will not be rescheduled this year, we have other exciting plans in the works. The council is currently considering naming the pavilion in Norman Park, Gordonvale, in honor of the late Stan Marsh. This will be a meaningful tribute to a remarkable individual who has contributed greatly to our community.
In our commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment, we recently launched Clean Up Cairns. At the launch event, we successfully collected and disposed of approximately 10,350 cigarette butts from three city streets. This initiative highlights our dedication to preserving the beauty of our region for generations to come.

Reviews
"Good place for walking the dog and for the kids to play, throw and kick a ball around then you can cool off in the creek at certain times of the year"
"Beautiful park, kept reasonably clean, nice to let the dogs off in the creek to cool down after a big walk."
"Nice walk in the middle of the suburbs. It would’ve been nice to have a proper trail next to the water though."
"Nice little park. Has a plastic slide and good swing for kids. Recently installed a bin which keeps it a bit cleaner. However there is often glass on the concrete path. Grass area full of sensitive weed so wear shoes. This park would benefit from an off lead dog park area."
"Top place to unwind,do art, relax, safe area for kids."
