Covering almost 17 hectares of land, The Palmetum offers a diverse range of habitats, catering to flora originating from the dry tropics to the wet tropical lowlands. Today, the collection boasts 300 species, including many rare and threatened ones, making it a valuable conservation effort. To reach The Palmetum, simply travel south along Nathan Street and cross the Ross River. You will find the entrance 300 meters on the left, in the suburb of Douglas.
