"ABSOLUTELY APPALLING REMOVALISTS! Do not use this company (aka Aussie moving and storage). They scam you. They hold your furniture as hostage until you pay more than than agreed cost, saying you owe more because your cubic metres was higher than quoted and that the uplift and unload time allotted went over time. They are unprofessional rogues. You do not get replies to your phone calls or text messages until you threaten them. We had to go to the storage depot to try and get our truck delivered as no one answers your calls. The depot is un manned and run by a theif who dictates to his staff how to scam more money from customers. The most stressful move I’ve ever experienced. Their truck had a broken tailgate and hydraulic lift so everything had to be done manually and my partner done most of it! This company needs to be put out of business!"

"These guys helped me move my one bedroom house from Sydney to the Cairns and they were great! Constant contact to let me know they were delayed with traffic, packing and unpacking truck was nice and fast and efficient, they were friendly and smiley and great to deal with. Really nice all around and they were very fast and friendly , got my one bedroom and study took them two hours and they done a great jobs"

"I have moved over 38 time in my life, some of those crossing continents. I have never come across a more ridiculously inefficient, non-communicative 'business' in my life. 8 weeks after we got here we finally received the last bit of our furniture. It took them 8 hours to load our truck - mainly because the driver had to have a sleep and their workers were fasting for religious purposes. My husband and son did the bulk of the work. Then the truck broke down on the way to melbourne and arrived late (this happens, i understand that) but they unloaded it and only brought half of the furniture, second load arrived a couple of weeks later, and we just received our last bit with still items missing. Next time I would rather sell all my furniture than deal with this group."

"would like to highly recommend AUSSIE MOVING AND STORAGE to be your first choice for moving home. Before moving, they have very good customer services, you know exactly what will be going on. We had a big day on the past Saturday from early morning until late afternoon for exactly 10 hours!!!. Removalists are really helpful. They are very organized and efficient. We have three homes to move furniture around, so there are lots of furniture to move in and move out, and to get swapped between two homes. At the end of day, all furnitures are in the right position, we are very happy! I felt very lucky that I have worked with Aussie moving and storage You will not be disappointed also!"

"This company is extremely unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest and inexperienced. Although they were cheap, in the end this was not worth the stress, hassle and severe lack of communication and professionalism. We would not recommend this company to our worst enemy. In the beginning of our Aussie Moving and Storage experience, there was excellent and prompt communication with one of the staff (I believe her name is Jasmine). We paid our deposit and organised for the truck to arrive at our home on a Thursday and collect our belongings, with the ETA in Brisbane to be Sunday. We were extremely happy with this, as well as the attractive price, and so we were confident that our belongings would be in good hands. The day before the Removalists were due to arrive, we called the office to confirm our booking, to which we were informed that they had their dates confused and had organised to have the truck collect our belongings on the Friday. The person on the phone apologised and said they would call the truck drivers to fix the mistake. We were also told we would receive a text message 2 hours prior to when the Removalists would arrive. On Thursday, we patiently waited for the 2-hours-prior text, but by 3pm we became slightly anxious (we were told they would be there between 3pm and 5pm). We called the main office - no answer. We called the route manager (Alysia) - no answer. I used a different phone to call the main office number a second time and they picked up straight away. We were then transferred to Alysia, who told us to call the truck drivers directly (instead of calling them herself and getting back to us). We called the truck drivers, and much to our dismay they were still 5 hours (apparently they ran out of fuel for 6 hours) from our house at approximately 4pm, meaning they would not be at our house until 9pm that night. We then called Alysia to tell her the news, and she said she would call us that same evening with an update on when our belongings would be collected. We never received a call. We tried to call them later the same night - no answer. On Friday at 9am, the truck driver called and told us they were half an hour away. At this point, we had begun our travels to Brisbane and had to inform our family (who had to pack the truck) that the Removalists were on their way. They arrived in thongs (which was not surprising) but packed our belongings away efficiently. On Sunday morning in Brisbane, we called the drivers for a rough time frame of when they would arrive as we had errands to run. At 9am, they were three hours out of Brisbane. We rushed around all morning and made it back to our home by 12 to be there when the Removalists arrived. They never did. We called (about 10 different numbers before one of them picked up) at 2pm and were told that they had to take a 5 hour break. We were told to expect a call that afternoon with an update. We were called and told that our belongings would be delivered on Monday morning. Monday morning came and went and our belongings were still not delivered. We called at 11am and were told that the drivers would not start working until 11:30am and had three other deliveries to make first. At 3pm, our belongings had still not arrived. We called and they said they would deliver our belongings in the next hour. They finally arrived, but looked very unprofessional and were impolite. Nevertheless, we were relieved that our belongings had arrived safely - even if they were over a day late. Moral of the story, if you like to be messed around, left in the dark and experience terrible customer service - this is the Removalist company for you."
