"Arrived at the hotel around 1245pm. No one was at the reception. Called the contacts details which they left at the main door. The manager arrived within 5 mins. Check in was smooth. I had compared with other nearby hotels. Only Eastern Sands offers free parking and they are one of the most budget hotel. Room conditions I must is not the best. Staying just for one night is fine for us."

"I stayed here just under 3 years ago. All of the guests were evacuated because of a fire that started in the laundry. I was not compensated for the inconvenience of having to find somewhere else to stay at 2am in the morning. Why I booked it a second time is beyond me..I should have paid the amount when I booked it. The proprietor has now added on an extra $60 without any notification.. I had an agreement over the phone, but upon payment he decided to up the price.. This is called price Gauging at its best!! It's a run down old hotel in need of alot of work. Full rubbish bins left for days with rotting meat fallen out on the driveway. .. Visibility through the windows in the rooms is very poor. The windows have never been cleaned. The linen is tired and the pillows are cheap and uncomfortable. The (doof doof) music coming from the Indian restaurant downstairs was so loud it shook the whole building and the guests could not hear the TV in their rooms, let alone any conversation..let alone sleep!! FIND ANOTHER HOTEL PEOPLE BECAUSE THIS HOTEL HAS CLEARLY HAD ITS DAY !!!"

"Awesome location, cheap and cheerful. Clean and comfy beds. Possibly the best of the budget hotels in the area. We've stayed a few times, paid around $150-175/n, potentially better rates if you book direct"

"For over $300 per night I expected a lot more. Yes, it’s very central, but compared to the photos on the website it’s not up to standard for the price paid. Clean enough but very old and dated."
