Reviews
"Very controlled nature reserve. Dogs must be on leash in this natural setting. But mountain bikers allowed. Very noisy from the roads around it."
"Quite a nice spot, good for a chill afterwork hike. Carpark could use some work still, but it has gotten better."
"The view would be more amazing if it was a clear weather. The foggy view was not that bad tho."
"The walk is relatively easy with only a few inclines. Unfortunately some tracks aren't very well marked, however it is easy to find another track to get you around. It's all dirt, no paved areas so could become muddy if there was a bit of rain. Also not a lot of shade so take a hat."
"The ridge is a beautiful place to walk your dog so close to the City Its tempting to want to take your dog off lead but don't as fleeing kangaroos run the risk of becoming road kill, the reserve is a relatively narrow nature strip flanked by busy Gungahlin Drive to the West and Dryandra St at its East. The Kangaroos are tame enough that you can get relatively close and there is an array of exotic Australian birds. Great views to the city and beyond and if you do walk your dog you might cross Fairfax St at the Southern end to the Inner North Dog Park for a puppy social and water top up."
