"Nice place to take small children. You can ride in the miniature train to the farm where you can feed the animals. It’s a bit on the expensive side but worth it. After you can walk across the road to the park and have a picnic and the kids can play on the swings"
"Fun train ride for kids. With farm amimals to see within train loop. Childrens will enjoy. Best for kids"
"I really enjoy the yarralumla play station! I have been coming here over the years with the kids (remembering when I rode the train as a child)! I love that there are a range of activities from mini golf with Canberran landmarks, to the mini farm and, of course, the train. All fun and not too expensive They have improved things over the past few years. There is now a wonderful lolly shop that the kids adore, a cafe with lovely indoor seating in a booth or on a couch, or outdoors under umbrellas. They are well set up for adults and kids with decent restrooms, high chairs, food and fun. Weston park across the road is also worth a visit. Great kid friendly spot!"
"Had a fun little game of mini golf. Only one course was open due to an Easter egg hunt but whilst the course isn't full of fancy gimmicks, it has its own challenges. The little train that circles the grounds is even slower than the express to Sydney, but I would have still enjoyed it as a kid. We didn't dine at the cafe, but the shop has some quirky Canberra souvenirs and gifts for sale."
"Very disappointing experience. It cost in excess of $100 for our family to come out for 1 hour. There was NO family or seniors discount available. There were minimal animals to see. The train ride was too short. The animal pens were either empty or 1 -3 of the basic regular animal. Eg a sheep, a llama, a pig, a pony, chickens, ducks, geese. The only access to the farm was via the train. The wait was in excess of 30 minutes for a train but it took less then 10 minutes to walk the "farm" We have been to regional areas where the "farm/zoo" experience has 10 x as many animals and it's free to visit with a small donation of $1 for food. Train rides being $5 each but last about 15 minutes of continual travel. This is terrible. It is time Canberra attractions step up and provide a service that is value for money for families. I do not recommend this attraction at ALL!"
