"One of the must visit places in Canberra. There's an exhibition as well detailing the history of Canberra as well as Australia. Just as you walk out of the exhibition building, you can see the park and the lake or you can go straight to the park. It's an awesome place to sit down especially in the evening. You get a view of the city, the bridge and all the lights."

"Enjoyed new years at Commonwealth park last night, as a family of two kids the event is always a great event. I was happy to see food and toilet amenaties available although not coordinated well. Over the years we have come to this park for multiple events and my main issue with this park is the parking, canberra in general has a parking issue and this park is no different."
