Reviews
"Great spot. The kids love the mini rapids ( take a body board to enjoy banging knees and plenty of sandbars for dogs and parents to sit on."
"I love the place. My puppy Chopper was really happy. Greenery at its best with flowing water. The great spot for picnic with toilet nearby but no phone network connection which is not a big deal at all"
"A short drive from Canberra proper. Lovely picnic spot by the river. There are a few picnic benches, plenty of car parking areas, and a block of toilets. The swimming areas are reasonably shallow, with the deepest part being approximately 1m. Dogs are allowed at this park to roam and swim. All in all a lovely spot for a picnic and swim on a hot day."
"Gorgeous place. Perfect for a picnic or bbq. Can be a bit busy on weekends, but nice and quiet and clean late in the evenings."
"Lovely spot to throw your rug/mat out and to lay back to listen to the river and pine trees. Toilets are clean and tidy and there several tables and chairs to set up lunch etc. Swimming is safe and the rapids were mild and not too strong. However I'm sure that could change depending on the rain levels. All in all its great."
