"The Adelaide Himeji Garden is an absolute treasure and a serene oasis in the heart of the city. As soon as I stepped inside, I was transported to a tranquil haven that beautifully combines Japanese culture with nature's splendor. The meticulous design of the garden perfectly captures the essence of a traditional Japanese landscape. The pristine pond, adorned with koi fish gracefully gliding through the water, and the meticulously manicured plants and trees all contribute to an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. I found myself captivated by the attention to detail in every corner of the garden. Each stone, bridge, and lantern seemed to be thoughtfully placed, creating a sense of harmony and balance that is truly remarkable. The garden's beauty is not only visual but also auditory, as the gentle rustling of leaves and the gentle flow of water added a sense of calm to my visit."
"The only downside to this little oasis is the size. Wish it was bigger. Well maintained, beautiful garden. If it's busy, can be a bit of a squeeze due to size but we have been lucky thus far. Worth a visit but unless you're setting up a picnic/place to read/relax, your looking at a 20-30 minute pop-in at most."
"Such a peaceful place. Such a great place to go when breaking away from the hustle and bustle of the city... Beautiful well done to the garden keepers it's so well done and looked after.. Thank you!!"
"Small, but really pretty and well maintained Japanese garden on the southern side of Adelaide. It’s about a 10-15 min walk from the nearest free tram stop. We spent about 45 min wandering around this garden and combined it with a visit to the nearby Veale Gardens (which is very different in style and structure). The garden is free to enter and definitely worth a visit if you’re in town."
"I loved about the Himeji Adelaide Garden was how serene and calming it felt. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and I found myself feeling more relaxed and at peace as soon as I stepped into the garden."
