That's why we actively participate in National NAIDOC Week celebrations, which take place in the first week of July each year. This week-long event is a time to honor and showcase the rich heritage and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We also value the input and wisdom of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, carers, community members, and local service providers. That's why we invite them to participate in our yarning circle, where their voices and experiences help shape the health and wellbeing of our community.

Foster and Kinship Carer Week 2023 is an important event on our calendar, running from 29 April to 6 May. During this week, we acknowledge and appreciate the incredible dedication and support provided by our foster and kinship carers.

We would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We recognize the Elders, both past and present, and their invaluable contributions to our community. We also extend our respect to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people from all Nations of this land.
