"Went out of our way to get a freshly cooked soft loaf of bread for breakfast - arrived 25 minutes after they opened only to wonder if they were closed - the door was open and sign was out but all the lights were off - walked in to see completely empty food cabinets apart from some sausage rolls thrown in the cabinet and a few loaves of bread.. the bread didnt even look fresh and tasted even worse! Im suprised you can run a store looking like this its pretty embarrassing! No wonder your reviews are so bad! I wont be back again"
"I made a special trip to buy fresh hot cross buns for Easter this morning. It was $8.50 a bag! And they only had sultana ones. I bought a bag anyway, but they are quite salty."
"I was quite disappointed upon arrival at the lack of products available, especially for mid-morning. The products that were on display did not look very appetising, and looked rather dry. I usually love Brumby's bakeries and the variety of products they have, but I would not recommend this one."
"I ordered some scones the day before for a team members birthday. Said I’d be there at 8.30am to collect and left my phone number. Upon arrival I was told there was no scones made. They had made a mistake and shouldn’t have taken the order. I understand people make mistakes but when I asked why didn’t they contact me to tell me they just shrug their shoulders and did not care. I wish I could give 0 stars as this lack of customer service is disgusting. Now I have bought prepackaged food from the iga next door instead of lovely fresh scones as I don’t have time to go anywhere else. Thanks Brumbys for a really bad experience. I will never go to your store again as your lack of customer service does not entitle you to my business anymore."
