About the Business
Welcome to Araucaria Avenue, located in Adelaide on Plane Tree Drive. Our institution is a unique establishment that combines the elements of a park and a point of interest.
At Araucaria Avenue, we are dedicated to showcasing and preserving Australia's threatened plant species. On 7-8 September, we invite you to join us and meet the passionate scientists who are working tirelessly to save these plants from extinction. It is a rare opportunity to witness their important work firsthand and learn about the steps being taken to protect these species for future generations.
Araucaria Avenue is not only a place of education and conservation but also a space for families to enjoy the wonders of nature. Bring your little explorers to Wittunga's fun nature playspace, where they can engage in interactive activities and learn about the importance of biodiversity in a playful and engaging environment.
For those seeking a more artistic experience, we invite you to explore the incredible augmented reality artworks in our free exhibition at Adelaide Botanic Garden. This unique exhibition combines technology with the beauty of native plants and trees, offering a one-of-a-kind visual experience that will leave you in awe.
Additionally, we are proud to present a free exhibition that shines a First Nations light on native plants and trees through sound, sculpture, and digital collage. This exhibition is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage and deep connection that Indigenous Australians have with the land, offering a new perspective on the importance of preserving our natural environment.
Nature Festival is an exciting event that takes place in the gardens surrounding Araucaria Avenue. Visitors can expect a wide range of events, activations, and workshops that celebrate the beauty and diversity of nature. From guided walks to hands-on workshops, there is something for everyone to enjoy and learn from during this festival.

Reviews
"Fairly big wide open space with a lot of trees. Good spot for a picnic as there's a few shaded spots near the trees. there's a few Ibis birds that walk around the area along with the usual magpies. a short walk away is a small enclosed garden patch with some dahlias in it. the closest toilet in the area is at the museum which isn't very far."
