Please note that as a private institution, there are fees associated with all consultations, including pathology testing. The fees may vary based on the time and treatment required.

To ease the financial burden, we have eliminated upfront charges at the Emergency Department prior to seeing a doctor or undergoing any tests. Payment is now required at the time of discharge, eliminating the need for a pre-authorization fee of $310, which was previously collected.

Additionally, we are pleased to inform you that there will be no out-of-pocket charges raised by South Coast Radiology for patients in the John Flynn Emergency Department. For further details, please refer to our informational flyer.

We offer multiple payment options, including cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard, and Visa. However, please note that these payment methods do not apply to patients covered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card.

To make the claiming process easier, we provide the option to electronically claim your Medicare Rebate for all eligible John Flynn Emergency Care Accounts. Our reception staff will assist in lodging your claim securely through a dedicated internet connection. Your rebate will be deposited into your nominated bank account within two to three working days.
