We understand the importance of convenience, which is why we provide vehicle transport to and from our facility for select patients. Simply let us know if you require this service, and we will be happy to accommodate your request.
When it comes to the cost of our ultrasounds, our friendly staff will discuss the details with you at the time of your appointment. In most cases, the ultrasound will be bulk billed. However, certain specialized examinations or procedures that require a Radiologist may incur a cost. We accept various payment methods, including EFTPOS, Visa, most Bankcards, and cash.
Finding us is easy, as we are located on Level 1 of 18 Carrara Street in Benowa, right next door to the Benowa Gardens Shopping Centre's underground carpark. Free parking is available on our premises for all of our patients.
To schedule an appointment, please give us a call at (07) 55 392 555. Generally, we can accommodate your requests within two working days. If your examination is urgent, your doctor can make arrangements with our front reception staff to get you in on the same day.
Certain examinations may require specific preparations, such as fasting or drinking fluids. Our staff will provide you with all the necessary information and instructions for your examination. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team.
After your scan, you will receive your images immediately on a patient portal card. Once the Radiologist has reported on the study, your referring doctor will automatically receive the results within 24 hours. Urgent reports will be sent within two hours. You can access your reports on your patient portal card 10 days after your ultrasound, giving you ample time to discuss the results with your doctor.
At Paradise Ultrasound, our aim is to create a friendly, caring environment while providing the highest quality diagnostic ultrasound images. We utilize the latest state-of-the-art GE ultrasound machines with 3D/4D capabilities to ensure accurate and detailed imaging.

"If it were possible to leave no stars, I would, to ensure future "mum to be's " were aware to never go through the unnecessary stress and ordeal we did of late as a result of this business. Our 20 week scan resulted in an initial unsupervised student scanning me, who advised me their supervisor would oversee them. Which they didnt. To then being advised we will need to come back for a "more views" scan the following day, as they didnt get all the images necessary, of my daughters heart to fulfil the requirements of the morphology scan. Coming back the following day, a more senior sonographer scanned and advised she had a 1mil hole in her heart. That will most likely resolve itself but will require follow up scanning and review. Our Dr called me days later, asking me to come in urgently to discuss the scan, where we were told by him she had a 9mil hole in her heart and to expect complications, surgery etc in future. I was dumbfounded, but he assured that the scan report advised this 8 Mil increase from what the sonographer told us. When calling paradise ultra sound to advise what our dr told us, from Their!!!! Report i was told "if it's on the report, it's correct". I refused to except this given the information their staff told me at my scan differed so greatly ,life impactingly, to their doctors report. They were annoyed by my distress and simply said, fine, I'll call you back. I was later returned with a call advising they "got it wrong". It was 0.9 Mil, not 9. This was Signed off by a Doctor!!!! Their specialist completely over saw this huge error!. Moreover, following further investigation, the hospital advised, there was no hole whatsoever and no cause for any concern. 5 week! Trauma, distress, worry, for nothing should they have just got it right from the beginning. This team collaboratively are unprofessional, have 0 attention to detail, no empathy or accountability. Well I need some accountability for the extreme distress brought on by this company and implore any future mums to proceed with utter caution or rather just avoid!"
"I implore any expectant mothers to please take caution using Paradise Ultrasound or consider using another provider. Our experience can only be described as a nightmare. From using a unsupervised student for my dating scan without any prior approval & telling me her supervisor was in the next room watching the scan, when I insisted on the supervisor doing the scan she then said that she would have to go look for her and she could be anywhere. I’ve since consulted many medical professionals including my GP and obstetrician who have all agreed that any such student should at least be under the constant supervision of a senior medical professional. I don’t blame the student as she was just under the instruction of her supervisor who put her in a terribly awkward position. Her supervisor (she has the blue hair) seemed put out that I had insisted on using a trained sonographer for the scan. The scan turned out to be quite complicated that even the senior member had some difficulties so I can’t even imagine the student being left in the situation. They were unable to follow my simple instructions to send the scans to my obstetrician which then lead to a very distressing ordeal later on in my pregnancy. I can’t describe the amount of stress, upset and unnecessary distress their lack of professionalism & incompetency caused myself and my family. The front desk staff were also so unhelpful while visiting and also over the phone. Overall we had a terrible experience and I’ve since heard many women have unfortunately also had that experience."
"I just wanted to simply say thank you for being pretty much the only medical facility that has had a warm and welcoming presence over my pregnancy journey so far . Doctors and medical receptionists included could certainly learn a lot from your staff who I believe provide the friendliest most warm service that should be a no brainer but unfortunately there’s a lot of cold service out there where I have just felt like I was a burden on their time. For me it has made my pregnancy journey more stressful and overwhelming than it needed to be so I just wanted to really thank you for making me feel so comfortable and at ease whenever I have been to your facility , I always look forward to my visits there ."
"Best ultrasound experience so far through our pragnancy. Paradise Ultrasound is the place to go. We had multiple scans at another place I wouldn't mention the name, experience was pretty average. Lady who did our scan named Anna, she was very professional, in the meantime extremely patient too. As our little one didn't quite cooperate with the scan, Anna tried many other ways and finally got some good images. Plus the staff members at the reception were very friendly too. I would totally come back for my future scans if needed. Highly recommended."
