"Sashimi was very fresh, and especially kingfish was delicious. The variety of assorted sushi is good and delicious. Overall, this restaurant serves the best quality food among casual sushi restaurants."
"Edit 30 May 2023 Deleted old menu and uploaded their newest menu. Tried three of their other dishes: Unagi roll, Kaisen Don and Miso Eggplant. Food was still one of the best Japanese food around. Waiting time could be better as our entree came out last. Overall, another great dining experience. Great food and good atmosphere. ------------------------------------------------------------- Came for dinner and the place was packed. We got seated in 10 minutes. We ordered takoyaki for starter and for main - grilled wagyu roll, char grilled chicken teriyaki don, chicken karaage don and aburi don. We didn't have to wait long for the food. They all came out in 10 mins. The starter - takoyaki was delicious and portion was generous. Each individual dish was so special, you could tell they were prepared fresh and plated with care. They were not only look beautiful, they also tasted delectable. Grilled wagyu roll and Aburi don came with grated fresh wasabi, not the usual instant wasabi you get in most Japanese places. Aburi don was just heaven. You were given sheet of seaweed for you to roll your own version of sushi or just eat them with your sushi rice together with the grilled fish and scallop. The chicken teriyaki was not your usual teriyaki. The meat was char grilled, giving the chicken that grilled smoky flavour. Chicken teriyaki and karaage chicken came with steamed cauliflower, edamame and sliced carrots. Service was efficient, friendly and fast. This might be our new favourite Japanese hangout. We will be back to try their home made curry dons."
"It was a gorgeous experience. The sashimi were super fresh and they were the highlight of the dinner. Perfect chicken marinated for the karaage and Takoyaki (octopus balls) were a huge portion. We couldn’t fit anymore main dish so we opted for the udon that were condensed so much umami flavors. Cons: it’s a small place and they don’t take any bookings so patrons has to write down their names on the board and wait to be called. Pros: apart from the variegated menu so many friendly ladies working there! Definitely we will be back to check out other dishes!"
"Delicious. Korean Japanese. Karaagae and Katsu Curry 9/10. Too much cabbage overwhelms the taste of the sushi and a rather weird, dare I say it, Korean addition (which left a bitter after taste) 2/10 (would be 8 minus cabbage). Udon is 9/10 - Superb dashi!! Charming overall. Recommended."
"Miso eggplant was yummy, crispy, not greasy! sauce was not watery. Nice udon soup, but okra in tempura selection wasn't the right choice according to our liking. Spider roll needs better plating - it looked like rice bowl instead of sushi roll."
