"Amazing and immersive experience. Definitely suggest visiting!"
"A surprise visit here, and well worth it, lots of interactive activities and for all ages. We will go again. As its a hands on experience, there are several hand sanitation stands, but these only work if they are regularly serviced, unfortunately, 2 of 3 stations were out of hand sanitiser. Simple fix, manager, manage!"
"MOD is presented as a place that is educational for children and I initially was really enjoying my time here with my wife and two young children. I'm all for educating them in the field of science and I encourage them to form opinions and wonder about the scientific world. What I wasn't ready for however, was the room upstairs that was themed around the upcoming referendum about the voice to parliament. In the corner there was a tablet on a pedestal that had two videos on loop. One of the videos featured an indigenous "comedian" that was constantly dropping the f bomb in his stand up routine. This was otherwise a small, quiet room that was set up with pens and pencils on tables that included post-it notes for kids to draw pictures and write messages to visitors. I found myself constantly having to strangely raise my voice during parts of the video when he was swearing just so my kids wouldn't hear the obscenity. The video was transcribed on screen and the f bomb was censored but the audio wasn't, and it was clearly audible in this small, secluded room. This is totally unacceptable for a place that is marketed as an educational venue for kids of all ages."
"A museum with a focus on science, tech and innovation as opposed to nature and history like the the typical museum. Quite a few interactive and different exhibits to see however is quite small. Overall a clean and neat place but I would not put it on the “must see” list if visiting Adelaide for a few days."
"Free interactive exhibitions exploring current and topical themes suitable for both children and adults. Located close to public transport in Central Adelaide. Staff are welcoming and friendly. There’s an on-site cafe and bathroom facilities."
