"About 2 weeks ago Nadia delivered a live interactive workshop called ‘Stress, Mess and Good News’. It wasn’t really overloaded with theory and citations from scientific literature though we were provided with some print outs. On the contrary – there were lots of examples from everyday life, so that the audience could feel really connected. Nadia also shared some examples from her personal life which made it very down-to-earth and easy to understand. For example, it was a revelation to me to find out that everybody has a different response to stress, and it’s ok to be very susceptible to stress. I’ve been always thinking about myself as a ‘psycho’ or ‘weirdo’ because of that. I also liked a game when we were catching the balls in the same way we juggle our multiple every day activities and do multitasking at work. I even mentioned it to my colleagues at my workplace. It made me even more convinced that multitasking is bad for the brain and overall mental health because it is too overwhelming. I think it’s a great idea to make employers aware of that because nowadays multitasking has become an essential and at the same time notorious skill which is in great demand at each and every workplace. However, not many people are aware that this skill is destructive at its core because it damages brain cells. Human beings are just not designed to perform in the same way as computers no matter how much somebody would like us to do so. I am very glad that Nadia highlighted this idea at her workshop because it resonates so much with me. Acai bowls were beautiful. I tried them for the 1st time and I liked them a lot. I found them very refreshing. Thank you Nadia for introducing me to this nice snack. It’s a great brekkie idea. In my understanding, the whole idea of the workshop was to create awareness that it’s essential to de-stress and ‘let the steam off’. And the good news is that there are some techniques for that – yoga, mantras, meditation, breathing techniques etc. However, it was a pity that the yoga session took less than planned and was just 30 minutes instead of 1 hour because we were running late due to the late start. I am sure Nadia will be doing some more workshops to offer the audience something new, interesting and educational at the same time. I would like to wish her every success in doing so."
"Nadia is a great therapist with a wealth of knowledge in neuroscience, which I think really makes her approach very unique. I can definitely recommend her services if you are experiencing stuck or stressed, or any other issues really. She is very professional and spot on!"
