"After my initial visit to Dr. Hall, I was caught up by his optimism and positivity. He made a very quick diagnosis of my problem and reckoned that with his treatment there was an 88% chance that it could be fixed, even if it meant a second procedure at some stage. Or, if not, he said, there other options. My hopes were high as I looked forward to the day of the procedure. Subsequently however the operation was not a success. After a couple of days there was a nasty side effect, which I had to call the doctor about, at the same time informing him there was not yet any obvious improvement. My original symptons soon returned. I booked a follow up visit two weeks later and was somewhat surprised when Dr. Hall ushered me into his office without even greeting me by name. Attitudes had changed, this quickly became obvious. There was very little discussion about how things had gone post op, and he soon stated that there was nothing more he could do for me. No other treatment (without insurance) was offered for consideration, although pain specialists and physiotherapists were mentioned. Ten minutes later, and another $100 lighter, I was out the door, back to square one and totally deflated by the whole experience. John Howard 12/02/2023"
