"Poor service. Noted that this is an emergency department however it appeared to be understaffed and poor time management. It was unacceptable the amount of wait time and poor communication for a emergency department (especially a private hospital). 20 minutes to be seen by a nurse 60 minutes to get an x-ray (with confirmed break) 60 minutes for the doctor to confirm said break and 'make plans' for referrals / splint etc. 20 minutes to put on the splint 90 minutes waiting for discharge. Recommendations: Increase your staffing for safety and efficiency"
"I recently had day surgery here. Reception staff and volunteers were amazing and helpful. The nursing staff, in particular, have an amazing bedside manner and were so caring. I love the patient tracking so my husband could go off and know the appropriate time to come pick me up. I've never been in a better hospital!"
"Had a Radio Frequency Ablation on both legs on 6/6/23 as a Day Patient. The nursing staff were wonderful - with 5 star performance in and out of the Operating Theatre. Very efficient, friendly and helpful in meeting patients needs. Well done St.Andrews!!"
"I attended St Andrew’s Memorial Hospital for day surgery today. From the moment I checked in to the Admissions desk, to the moment my husband picked me up after my surgery six hours later, the care and attention I received was nothing short of amazing. I’d like to make special mention of Nurses Jordan, Byron, Mandy, Jane, Louise and Dania, and my apologies to anyone I’ve missed. You were all fantastic, so thank you for the wonderful care and attention to the awesome and professional team at St Andrew’s. You are all very special indeed!"
"I had spinal surgery here May 15, 2023 and spent two nights in a private hospital room. Everything and everyone at St. Vincent’s Chermside was top notch including the admission process, the nurses, the imaging department, and even the food service. Staff were all very professional, caring and competent. Not only did they treat the patients with respect and professionalism, I noticed that they treated each other that way as well. Thank you to everyone for helping me through a difficult procedure."
