"My wife and I were very excited for our 12th week scan as you could imagine. Unfortunately the experience was a traumatic one, mainly to my wife. Firstly, no one asked if we would be comfortable with a trainee conducting the scan by herself, which was wasted when the main radiologist had to intervene and redo the whole scan once again. In addition to the time wasted, my wife wasn’t very comfortable with the way the scan was conducted and it felt very invasive. We were left with a bit of sour taste."

"The kindness and care I received was out of this world. I showed up for a second opinion, terrified I was about to be told I had major fertility issues, after a misdiagnosis from another clinic and GP. The reception staff were super lovely, the sonographer Caitlin was hilarious and calmed my anxious nerves. In the end it was a positive result, and I am now returning for my first pregnancy scan 2 months later. Thank you to all the staff who took the time and care to support me on what was a very emotional day."

"An underwhelming experience for our second pregnancy. I’ve just had my (presumably) last scan for our final baby and we have been quite disappointed with the experience at QUFW in Spring Hill. We had a great series of scans with our first baby and were looking forward to similar with this one. Instead, each visit has been much the same, efficient but very clinical and certainly not terribly reassuring for a patient with a high risk pregnancy. Today we left with no real clue as to the outcome of our scan - we were told the baby is measuring ahead and my placenta (the primary reason for today’s scan) looks ‘ok’, but that the sonographer would have to check with the doctor. After a short wait another staff member stuck their head in, said you are fine to go and that was that. We also have no good keepsake images despite having multiple scans. The sonographer was able to get one facial picture today but it has not been included in the images sent through. Sadly, each of our 5 scans with this baby have followed a similar pattern, so if you are looking for warmth and reassurance and that ‘excitement’ factor of getting to see your baby on the screen, I would probably try elsewhere. We can’t fault the reception team and the efficiency of the service, and whilst we appreciate the level of expertise and thoroughness this clinic offers, the actual experience of the scans themselves and the bedside manner of the sonographers has been quite disappointing"

"I went for my Nuchal translucency scan on Monday at QUFW. It was one of the most wonderful and memorable experiences of my life. We were seen right on our appointment time by a wonderful sonographer called Jacqui. She made me feel so comfortable and explained every aspect of the scan as it happened. Her knowledge was commendable. She got some incredible pictures of my twins which I will treasure forever. I have booked my 20 week scan with Jacqui and cannot wait to have it at QUFW. "Couldn’t be happier with the service we have received at QUFW. Unfortunately, we have had a difficult fertility journey and wanted to try a new clinic for our ultrasounds. We have had our 11, 13 and 20 week scan at QUFW. We have been really happy with the sonographers, doctors and receptionists we have met over the last few months.
