"I have had the great pleasure of knowing Dr Chris Price in a multitude of capacities. I was initially introduced to his name whilst working as a receptionist for another OB-GYN at North West Private Hospital. Dr Price ran a very established and sought after practice in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and was hugely admired by staff. I knew I needed a posterior repair once I’d finished having my children, and asked a midwife colleague who she recommended - her response was: “Chris Price, hands down”. I then finished my Bachelor of Nursing and briefly worked in North Wests’ theatre as a scrub/scout. During this time, I had the privilege of seeing Chris perform an array of surgeries, from repairs and laparoscopies, through to caesarean sections and hysterectomies. He was kind and respectful to all staff, students included; but above all, he was knowledgeable and an excellent teacher, with a confidence you would expect and hope for your surgeon to have. Finally, I chose Chris to complete a posterior repair on me, as well as a tubal removal and endometrial ablation. I can honestly say I have such profound respect for this man. He is a wonderful doctor and aspirational to many in the medical field. People who are mentored by him, or become his patients, are truly privileged. On a personal level, he has always listened attentively, had a fantastic sense of humor, and had open and honest discussions with me. As a patient, I want a surgeon who doesn’t sugar coat a situation, yet can handle anything thrown at him in his respective field. It is of utmost importance that patients can completely trust their surgeon; Dr Price exceeded above and beyond my expectations."

"Dr Price cared for me when we lost our child at 13 weeks, through to the care and safe arrival of our son 18yrs ago. During these past 18 years I have seen Dr Price for various concerns and proceedure and I would never consider anyone else. My husband I appreciate his dry wit, and honest approach. I intend seeing him very soon for another consult, and have every confidence in his expert opinion and direction."

"Really upset with the care and treatment from Dr Price. He described me as being a "dudd" because of recent complications from an unrelated surgery... I also walked into my initial consult with my Husband and he made a throw away comment that my husband didn't need to be there. Just before I was put to sleep for my Lletz procedure, he told the kind Anaesthetist to stop talking to me and to hurry up and put me to sleep, because I'm a Surgery Connect patient and that you don't have to give the proper care and treatment because he didn't get paid the "full amount". After surgery from Dr Price, I had a heavy bleed and was unsure what to do. So I called his office for assistance. Dr Price returned my call then proceeded to tell me that he doesn't need to see me again because I am a Surgery Connect patient and he is not responsible for my care afterwards. I called Surgery Connect, who advised, as he was the surgeon, he would be responsible for care for 90 days post surgery. I then got a text from Dr Price's office, so I scheduled an appointment as required. I walked into my appointment today. The first thing he says, "why are you here, I only just saw you recently"... I explained my reasons ie. Follow up patient care from surgery. He then stated that I didn't need to come in and that I should have made a phone appointment. He then gives me a whole 3 minutes of his time. Refuses to print out my results from surgery and gives me a quick explanation of the surgery. I then asked questions about my periods not returning (which has never ever happened before) and he didn't even want to get into conversation about it. He told me to just wait and see what happens and provided no guidance on how long to wait or who else to see if it doesn't return. I felt so disrespected and uncared for. I have never felt this way by a surgeon before and I walked out crying feeling extremely unsupported. I am 34 years old and I really want children. I now have concerns about my future post surgery and feel alone as I have not received any support or advice about this from Dr Price. I would not recommend his services. He definitely is not there for the care and love for his job. Dr Price, my message to you is not to take on Surgery Connect patients unless you're doing it for the right reasons. No other woman should be feeling the way I am right now. A little bit of empathy and understanding goes along way. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the surgery as it has reduced my risks of cervical cancer, but I still do not deserve to be treated this way."

"Dr Price delivered our second child at NWPH in August 2020. I came to hospital “after hours” and therefore the Obstetrician who had managed my pregnancy did not come in, and instead Dr Price was there that evening. We found him to be funny, professional and very good at his job. Nil issues during or after giving birth. Recovery was uneventful, which was completely different than my first experience giving birth. Would highly recommend Dr Price."
