"During my first and only consult, my child had a brief conversation with Dr Shah before she indicated that my child’s communicative ability was appropriate. I personally then proceeded to have a one-on-on one conversation with Dr Shah about my concerns with my child’s cognitive abilities. It was during this conversation (clearly not Directed towards my daughter or of a nature that would stimulate the interest of any 8 year old person) that Dr Shah expressed her concerns over my daughter’s attention span. Immediately, Dr shah wanted to try a course of medication ( 10 mins only into our first visit) in an effort to improve her concentration. I related this to her school’s developmental team who were surprised as this was never a characteristic they considered apparent with my daughter though 10s of hours had been spent with her on a one on one basis."
"Highly recommend Dr Scorer. I found him to be thorough, compassionate and caring. He has helped manage my sons Tourette and ADHD, and educated me along the way. I can’t thank him enough for the change I have seen in my little man. THANK YOU!"
"Appalling. Wait 9 months for an initial consult. Consult doesn’t get anywhere because the doctors requests a medical release from all hospitals your child has been too. Don’t know why this couldn’t have been done in advance? After waiting 9 months you get a text message to call them a week out, don’t know why they can’t be courteous and call you? They request to shift the appointment to Telehealth. You accept reluctantly. You don’t receive a link to the Telehealth consult till 15-20 after the start of the scheduled appointment. Still pay the full $500. Wait another 3 months for a follow up appointment. Your still where you were 12 months ago, seeking desperate help and intervention for your child. Again, ask you to call them a week out to switch to Telehealth. You call them, and find out the medical release still hasn’t been done. You get abrupt, and find that oddly they have the files later that day. 2nd Telehealth appointment, and they still don’t send the link until after the scheduled appointment time. Don’t bother with this service of your a desperate parent. The reception staff speak over you, pass accountability to the next person and have no empathy for families in crisis situations."
"Dr Shah has helped us with our son for many years. We are very grateful for the level of care that our son has and still receives. I would highly recommend Dr Shah to any parents on the Sunshine Coast that have children with additional needs."
"Highly unprofessional. Firstly, my partner was dismissed and spoken to in a patronising manner and pressured into making a decision on the spot by Dr Shah, whilst in hospital. Secondly, we tried raising concerns about poor duty of care, and not providing informed consent for services, however these were dismissed and the response was purely “pay for our services”. Thirdly, we paid an invoice for services by Dr Scorer (who we were thankful for his service), on requesting a receipt for Medicare claim, the email response was purely “scan attached” no greeting or sign off, just simply an email that a robot could have done."
