Welcome to Samford Village Ultrasound, located in the heart of Samford Village on Main Street. As the founder of this esteemed institution, I, Samantha, bring years of experience as an accredited diagnostic sonographer, specializing in obstetric and emergency medicine.

At Samford Village Ultrasound, we are dedicated to providing our community with top-notch care and diagnostic services. Our range of ultrasound services includes general, pediatric, obstetric, vascular, superficial parts, and musculoskeletal studies. We also offer non-diagnostic obstetric experiences in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

For recommended diagnostic studies during pregnancy, we work closely with obstetricians, and our highly regarded Radiologist examines and reports the results. While there is a fee for most of these studies, a significant portion is Medicare rebatable.

Our non-diagnostic obstetric studies are a delightful experience for the whole family. No doctor's referral is needed for these visits, but please note that they do not replace the necessary diagnostic ultrasounds prescribed by your doctor throughout your pregnancy. These scans are purely for enjoyment and do not examine for abnormalities.

To ensure the safety of our staff and patients during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented various measures in line with Department of Health guidelines. Appointments must be made over the phone to undergo a strict screening process before arrival, and walk-in appointments are currently unavailable. Only patients and necessary support people are allowed on the premises, with additional infection control measures in place.

As a vital healthcare service provider, we remain committed to delivering necessary ultrasound imaging during these challenging times. Our reception team is available to take phone calls and inquiries from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, although our clinical hours may have changed.

In an effort to provide further support, we are now accepting Telehealth imaging request forms. These can be emailed to us in various formats, including photographs, PDFs, or Microsoft Word Documents.
