"Nurses were rude and could not speak or understand English. Were mean to 94 yo lady. Bed broke and waxs not fixed. Buzzer broken. The nurses were too busy having a party in lunch room all at same time and no one even packed her belongings when she was ready to leave. Certainly would not even let my enemy be there."
"Not satisfied with services .. didn’t look well enough after my 82 years old mother. She was sent there for rehab & to get better but after 2 weeks she has ended up in P.A hospital E.D and right now fighting for her life with few infections & complications."
"Just recently lost our mother. StVincent’s is suppose to help with her transition to palative care the way that woman was treated by your so called team is absolutely appalling and disgusting. My father was left to care for her with the advice from nurses and by the way there were a few not just one.. as he said he was told what to do but not shown.. to even get a nurse out to see her was taking 3 to 5 days and that was even if they called back to make an appointment. My father was made to feel by your nurses that he was doing the wrong thing only because one nurse was telling him to do it then another one is telling him it is wrong… she died at home in so much pain because we had to wait another 3 days before any one would come out to see her..thank god for the Redlands hospital for taking proper care of her thank fully she died in peace that day she was taken there and looked after straight away. Not after months of pain and no help from St Vincent’s … only giving 1 star because it won’t let me give no star"
"I stayed in level and I would like to give a huge thank you to Nikki ,Mark, Nathan,Ivy and Young for making my stay so much easier when all I wanted to do was panic. The other 2people I would like to thank is my favourite tea and coffee ladies Lexia and I’m really sorry but I’ve forgotten your name but you are in your seventies originally from Asia but you also bring up our meals. There is only one problem and that is the food. Bloody terrible. I’m a huge foody with a background in hospitality as a cook I get the size of the meal but there is No reason for green verges overcooked until there grey. Shame on you chef/cook for a privat hospital it’s bloody horrible"
"I was admitted to St.Vincents Private Hospital at Chermside on Sunday 1st Aug 2021 until Monday 9th Aug. The whole experience from the caring nurses, physiotherapists and professional doctors to the cleaners and catering staff was more than satisfactory. The radiographers doing the MRI and CT scans were very empathetic. I was a person not a number and this is an element that is often missing from many hospitals. Perhaps I was lucky and was admitted in a quieter period than usual but even my discharge to another hospital by the ambulance officers was effected in a timely manner. THANK YOU to all staff involved and keep on caring! The only constructive criticism I have is perhaps if the doctors are strapped for time to fully explain any diagnosis a head nurse could be elected to convey such information in lay terms."
