We follow the Early Years' Learning Framework and design our activities, curriculum, and facilities to make children feel comfortable and at home. Our centers are designed with natural furnishes, colors, and resources to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We also offer a funded kindergarten program, which includes exciting excursions to the park.

Outside, we have a well-balanced mix of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces that encourage children to learn, explore, and appreciate the importance of sustainability. We recently completed a yard upgrade, providing children with ample space to engage with the natural constructed environment, a mud kitchen, a dry creek bed, and much more.

Nutrition is a priority for us, and our qualified cook prepares fresh, healthy, and nutritious meals for the children every day. We provide all meals, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack.

Community involvement is also a crucial aspect of our institution. Through regular visits to the center and participation in events and activities throughout the year, we aim to enrich the learning experience for our children. Our nursery children even get to explore the community during regular walks in our 6-seater prams. Daily art and music experiences allow children to freely express their creativity.

Hi, I'm Julie, the Centre Director of Goodstart Berwick. With a Diploma of Children's Service and an Advanced Diploma in the Community Sector, I have 10 years of experience in the Early Learning Sector, including 6 years with Goodstart. I have worked with children of all age groups and have supported and extended their learning and development through various roles I have held. I firmly believe that each child is a unique individual who deserves a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere to grow emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.

I am excited to provide your children with hands-on activities and ample time and space to use these experiences to extend and scaffold their learning. Our team of educators and teachers are passionate and dedicated, and we would love to share your child's learning journey with you.
