In addition to our commitment to childcare, Austin Health is at the forefront of medical advancements. We are proud to be conducting a world-first clinical trial aimed at helping millions of Australians with penicillin allergies. This groundbreaking research demonstrates our dedication to improving the health and well-being of our community.

We also work closely with the ONJ Centre, providing support and care to cancer patients like Imogen Cooper. Imogen's journey with stage three colon cancer began at the young age of 21, and she received exceptional treatment at our centre. Our collaboration with a Ballarat Radiation Oncologist has allowed us to deliver over 1500 treatments closer to home for cancer patients through our Gynaecological Radiotherapy program.

Through ongoing work and collaboration, we have identified spotlight initiatives that further embed our goals into our everyday work. This ensures that we consistently provide the highest standard of care to our patients and community.

We understand that staying in a hospital for an extended period can be challenging. Dean, one of our patients, spent over seven months at Austin Hospital fighting for his life. However, with the dedicated care and support he received, Dean was finally able to go home earlier this month. This success story is a testament to our commitment to improving the lives of those in our care.
