About the Business
Welcome to Community Kids Haven Early Learning Centre in Ardeer, Australia! Located on Ballarat Road, our establishment is a point of interest and a school that offers a friendly and safe environment for children, families, and educators alike.
At Community Kids Haven, we proudly implement the Reggio approach to early learning. Our children engage in a variety of learning experiences using a wide range of resources, from wooden blocks to loose parts. Our indoor/outdoor curriculum is based on the children's interests, ensuring a stimulating program that is accessible to all while also providing challenges to promote their development.
Our vision for CKH children is to cultivate a passion for learning and discovery in a safe, secure, and caring environment that embraces diversity and individuality. We want our children to feel a sense of belonging and actively participate in their own learning through collaboration between families and educators.
As the Centre Director, my name is Ana, and I have been in the Early Learning Sector for 30 years. I am committed to creating a team that embraces and promotes each member's strengths, while respecting and considering their opinions, beliefs, and values. Together, we aim to offer programs that support children's development, enabling them to acquire skills and knowledge while maintaining good physical and mental health.
We understand the importance of sun protection, and we take it very seriously at Community Kids Haven. Overexposure to UV radiation can cause skin and eye damage, leading to skin cancer. We provide sun protection times closest to our center's location through the SunSmart UV widget, making it easier for families to be smart about their sun exposure all year round.
Our center is open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm, and we are closed on weekends and public holidays. We have a brand new, clean, and well-equipped facility, including a safe and fun playground for the children to enjoy.
Don't just take our word for it - parents have been impressed with our professional and experienced staff, who provide excellent care and regular updates on the children's progress. Our attractive child care center has received positive feedback from visitors and referred friends.
Join us at Community Kids Haven Early Learning Centre in Ardeer, where we strive to create a nurturing environment that supports and develops each child's full potential.

Reviews
"Such a fantastic early learning centre for children, my wife and I are so impressed with the educators here. They give such great feedback each day and are so great with the children. The director of the centre is exceptional and responds to any queries promptly. The facilities are fantastic and your childrs progress/goals they wish to achieve are communicated every week. The app they use also makes it easy to track daily events and see photos of your child throughout the day. Our child is having such a wonderful time here, I would highly recommend this centre to anyone in the Ardeer area."
"Ana has been fantastic, great communication making the transition to childcare go as smoothly as possible for this nervous mumma. Centre is clean, staff so far have been wonderful, the menu has plenty of variety and are happy to cater to my daughters dietary requirements, play spaces are well maintained, overall so far my experience with this centre has been a pleasure."
"The educators are caring and patient, especially when my child was getting used to this new environment and English was a new language. They spent lots of time and be more flexible to help me settle. I am very thankful."
"I got a reminder in my email about “a whole year has passed since you entrusted us with the care of…” and the email asked for me to leave a review. So I shall. Our child was only in this centre for about 2-3 months, and pulled her out before we went on a trip and decided not to put her back in. Unfortunately due to the casual carers changing constantly, there was only one regular carer in the baby room (who was lovely when I met her). However my baby (she was 1yo at the time) was never given a chance to attach to anyone and was upset for three whole months for drop off and pick up. We would pick her up and she would’ve cried the whole day, and would still be crying on the ground by herself. It was so upsetting to see. Instead of trying to address my concerns, the centre just kept saying it was normal for kids to take a while (2 months?!) to adjust. Meanwhile when we got back and we put our daughter in a different care, they were so kind to her she adjusted in a week. We had issues with our CCS as well and it took a while to get approve meaning we were owed thousands by the end (as you have to pay 4 weeks in advance). It was eventually sorted but stressful and they did not take into consideration individual families needs. I hope that you take this feedback on board, families are trusting you with their children and a safe secure attachment is so important to a child’s development."
