"The yarra river wanders through the reserve and there is several spots where you can picnic with tables and seats. Quiet and safe. Not much in the way of toilets or BBQ,a thought."
"The image shown on booking. Com was not the room l got and was way smaller then l expected for $192 a night. When booking l also clicked on that l was a smoker so l thought ld get a balcony or a room that had a smoking area near by but didn't. All night we could hear banging from the room upstairs. There was no coffee or tea in our room although we had everything else to make it. The volume button on the remote was not working and would not go down . While having a shower the bathroom floor flooded don't really know why. There was 2 of us in a room and only 1 set of bathroom toiletries were offered which wasn't enough for 2 people. I also mentioned it was me and partners anniversary in the message on booking.com and at told the recpetionist and no special or kind offer was given. I've paid less for a room at a 3 star place and was more impressed to be honest. Also felt breakfasts was a bit costly for 1 small pieace of toast, mashed avo and 2 eggs, l had to ask for more toast as l was still hungry. The lattes we ordered were room temperature, small and the glasses were old and all scratched up. The grounds were nice but they didn't really have much to offer for 5.5 star spa and resort. To be honest my partner and l were let down and most definitely won't be coming back. My money could of been better spent else where for our anniversary."
"Great place to walk your dog. Big off lead areas. Please take your own poo bags and be sure to clean up after your dog so we can all enjoy the park. Small picnic ground with new tables and benches that are not in the shade unfortunately. Toilets are generally clean. Cleaner seems to be there very regularly. No barbecues and no play equipment."
