Reviews
"Great little crossing during the drier months. Closed to public currently (9/10/22) due to flooding coming from Melton Reservoir. Gates and boulders have been placed by SES to prevent vehicles from getting stuck in high waters. Currently approx. 1.3m deep at crossing."
"A little bridge or a box culvert would be good over this river crossing for people travelling between Wyndham Vale and Melton."
"NOTE: I came through here before Lockdown 5.0 Pretty scenic river crossing. Most cars can make it through here but check depth indicators before crossing. The access road from Ballan Road is in rough condition however."
"There is a warning sign to say that only 4WD's only past the sign. Cars can travel through this crossing as well, I watched a 4WD and a pickup drive through, my Ford Territory was suitable. Id say you'd need a decent sized sedan to be sure. I was told most cars are good, Id say to check the height of the water just in case, before you decide to travel through it."
